Frequently Asked Questions
-
Do you provide the supplies?
Yes, we provide all supplies! This includes all cleaning products, vacuum, mop, broom, and cleaning clothes. The only exception is that we ask you to provide the toilet brush.
If there is a certain product that you would prefer, you are welcome to provide it for us to use.
-
Do you use “green” cleaning products?
Most of the products we use are considered natural including biodegradable soap, and non-toxic product brands.
While we rely mostly on these natural products and a lot of “elbow grease”, there are times when we utilize products with chemicals such as abrasive scrub soap and oven cleaner.
If you have a product preference or sensitivity, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.
-
Do I need to be home when you clean? What about my pets?
No, you do not need to be present when we clean. If you will not be present, it is most common to provide a key code or hidden key.
If you have any pets, we can meet them during the Estimate Meeting and together determine what would make us all the most comfortable.
-
What are your rates?
We believe in quality and detail. Because of this, we charge per job based on your space and individual needs. In order to determine a rate, we schedule a short Estimate Meeting before beginning service so that we can get you an accurate quote and meet each other in person to be sure it’s a good fit.
Most regular cleans end up ranging between $150 and $250.
-
How do I pay for my service?
We accept payment with a credit or debit card with online invoicing. All payments are due at the beginning of service.
-
What tasks does a typical cleaning include?
A typical cleaning service includes:
Damp dusting of surfaces (kitchen counters, tables, baseboards, marks off walls, etc.)
Dry dusting (shelves, electronics, wall hangings, light fixtures, blinds, etc.)
Bathrooms (scrub sink, toilet, shower/tub, fixtures, tile, etc.)
Sweep and mop all flooring
Vacuum all carpet and floor rugs
Trash removal
We are always open to special requests by including specific tasks that best fit your needs.
-
Do you keep a regular schedule?
Yes! Each client is assigned a regular day and time for weekly or biweekly cleans (ex: every other Wednesday morning at 9:00am). We do have some flexibility for when something comes up that requires altering our regular schedule (illness, holiday, snow storm..).
-
Do you send the same cleaner for every visit?
We work to assign each client a regular cleaner who they can expect consistency. While the same person will be assigned majority of the time, we do have some flexibility to assign a different staff member if someone is out sick or on vacation.
-
Are you insured?
Yes! We carry both full liability and workers compensation insurance. All of our staff members are true employees (not contracted) and are covered by the companies insurance.
-
Do I need to sign a service contract?
We only have signed service agreements for our commercial clients. While we discuss the details of how service works at the initial estimate meeting, residential clients are not asked to sign a service agreement and there is no agreement regarding a required service term.
-
What if I don’t need my entire home cleaned?
That’s okay! It’s very common for our clients to request that we skip certain areas of their home. Examples could be a bedroom that’s being used for storage or a sun porch in the off season.
